After graduating from Kent State University with a Ph.D. in Audiology, Dr. Regan has gone on to provide high-quality hearing healthcare services as well as lending his expertise to Humboldt State University as Assistant Professor, Clinical Director, and Department Chairperson.

Since establishing The Clinics in 1981, Dr. Regan has created a loyal foundation of satisfied patients, which continues to thrive and expand daily.  He has also founded a medical mission, in cooperation with Rotary International, to provide Audiological services and hearing aids to those in need in Compostela, Mexico.

For 24 years, Carmen has been handling The Clinics daily traffic, as Chief-in-Charge to include: Business and Office Manager, front desk responsibilities, personnel management, and all insurance and billing duties.  Carmen is bilingual, bi-literate and bicultural in Spanish and English.

Chances are, if you’ve called or visited The Clinics with questions, concerns, or service needs, Carmen is the first one you’ve talked with.  Every day, in every way she enthusiastically, competently, and confidently provides our patients with necessary and helpful information, as well direction and advice regarding their insurance coverages, hearing instruments and any other issue, as she diligently strives to fulfill our mandate to make our Family of Patients comfortable, satisfied and successful.

The Clinics has been blessed and privileged to have Kathey as a part of our staff family for five years now.  As a graduate of UCSB, she brings her business background, experience and personal sensitivity to our office daily, keeping the office on purpose, accountable, pleasant, and reliably focused.  You will find her fielding phone calls, scheduling appointments, and checking in with our patients to make sure they are satisfied and happy. Additionally, as our principle transcriptionist, she is the voice and historian of our office.

It can get pretty busy around here, but Kathey runs the front office with an even keel and positivity, always greeting you with confidence and a welcoming smile. 

A recent transplant to the West Coast, Schanen is originally from South Carolina, where she earned her BA from College of Charleston in Communication, specializing in Media Studies with an emphasis on Public Relations.  She recently teamed up with Regan Clinics to create and maintain an interactive online presence through various Social Media channels, in conjunction with current marketing efforts.

Our bookkeeper wrangles the bookkeeping and is the accounting backbone of our business, always making sure we know what we have left and where it went. Our bookkeeper has served our business family well, efficiently, and reliably since 1999, whether through incomparable bookkeeping skills or long and enduring personal friendship and tireless support.  We definitely could not do what we do daily without our bookkeeper and staff.
